About the laboratory

M:3L — Mathematical Modeling & Machine Learning Laboratory

M:3L (Mathematical Modeling & Machine Learning Laboratory) is a research and engineering laboratory in Yerevan, Armenia, working at the intersection of machine learning, agentic AI, computational mechanics, scientific computing, 3D intelligence, and physics-driven AI.

Identity

M:3L was established in June 2025 at the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan, Armenia.

M:3L is a hybrid research and engineering laboratory. Its distinguishing technical combination is 3D AI + CAD Intelligence + Agentic AI + Scientific Computing + Computational Mechanics.

Specialization

The laboratory develops zero-shot and open-vocabulary 3D systems, multimodal reconstruction of executable CAD programs, scientific and physics-driven machine learning, differentiable FEM, inverse design, metamaterials and wave control, event-sequence representations, and tool-using agents for research and engineering workflows.

Collaboration

M:3L pursues academic and industrial research, joint scientific proposals, engineering R&D, 3D/CAD projects, scientific AI, computational mechanics, and autonomous engineering systems.
